Raising Awareness about 'Voice of the People'....

In the UK...

Vicky Brown and his Voice of the People album features in the October 2009 edition of the Millennium Development Goals Review (MDG-Review). The article focuses on Living Earth and Bristol Zoo's community based approach to conservation and demonstrates the importance of ensuring that local communities and indigenous forest people are able to actively engaged in developing solutions to overcome the challenges of conservation and development.

In Cameroon...

Television:
On 21st October 2009, Vicky Brown appeared on Ariane Television (ATV), a private Cameroonian television channel. Viewers were invited to telephone in and to find out more about the artist and the story behind the Voice of the People album.

Radio:
Following the launch of the Voice of the People album in Cameroon in September 2009, the album was showcased on a number of Cameroonian radio shows, raising awareness about the challenges facing the people living around the Dja Reserve.
